tips for taking the best photos

Take a few photos of your property from different angles and I can help you select the angle that will be most flattering for your painting.

Try to photograph when the sun is shining directly on the home, instead of casting shadows. (early/late afternoon tends to be best)

Take close up shots of any special features you want to make sure I include

I can do some editing when I paint, removing power lines, adding or removing foliage, removing cars etc.

the process

The overall timeline will vary based on many factors (schedule, responsiveness, number of proofs needed, etc) but overall it is a good idea to leave at least 4 - 8 weeks for your custom home or venue portrait project. If you are including custom printed items as well the more time we have the better. Depending on my current schedule, rush options may be available. If you think you need to add a rush please let me know. Also, if you are purchasing this as a gift for someone I can provide you with a complimentary gift certificate to give them so they will know their custom home portrait is on the way soon!

Proofs will then be finalized and approved by you and the printing will begin after the balance has been paid.
