the process

The overall timeline will vary based on many factors (schedule, responsiveness, number of proofs needed, etc) but overall it is a good idea to leave at least 6 - 10 weeks for your custom monogram and crest project. If you are including custom printed items as well the more time we have the better. Depending on my current schedule, rush options may be available. If you think you need to add a rush please let me know. 

Proofs will then be finalized and approved by you and either the printing will begin or the file formatted for you.

Once I have all that information, I will create your initial sketches. You will make your choices and approve your sketches for painting and I will then create your watercolor crest proofs. You will review your proofs and request any changes if needed. Up to 3 rounds of changes are included.

After the retainer and contract are received the fun part starts! I will gather all your details including: letters, colors, flower preferences, crest shape etc. Don't worry I have easy to fill out forms for you to that make the process simple and quick!

I will send you a proposal with pricing for you to make your selections. For custom crest designs a 50% non-refundable retainer is due to get started. The remaining 50% will be due once we have completed the design.
