the process
The overall timeline will vary based on many factors (schedule, responsiveness, number of proofs needed, etc) but overall it is a good idea to leave at least 4 - 8 weeks for your custom pet portrait project. If you are including custom printed items as well the more time we have the better. Depending on my current schedule, rush options may be available. If you think you need to add a rush please let me know. Also, if you are purchasing this as a gift for someone I can provide you with a complimentary gift certificate to give them so they will know their custom pet portrait is on the way soon!
Proofs will then be finalized and approved by you and the printing will begin after the balance has been paid.

Once I have all that information, I will create your initial sketches. You will make your choices and approve your sketches for painting and I will then create your watercolor proofs. You will review your proofs and request any changes if needed. Up to 3 rounds of changes are included.

After the retainer and contract are received the fun part starts! I will gather all your details including: colors, reference images etc. Don't worry I have easy to fill out forms for you to that make the process simple and quick!

Once submitted it will bring you the contract. Here you can review and sign the contract agreement to get started. Sign and submit to go to the next page - the invoice. Here you can pay the 50% retainer to get started.
